Information is being circulated on FAA sites. My confirmation consisted of one of Burt's term mates, who had been advised by Phil Carey, about Burt's death yesterday (24/8/21), on his farm near Kempsey. Phil was not only a good mate, but he was also a brother-in-law to Burt.

Gary trained as a Birdie and was well known throughout the FAA Assoc. Sad news to hear the passing of another young MOBI.

Thanks Brian,

I heard yesterday, really sad news.

I worked with Gary on 817 Squadron, he was a champion bloke, a very good CPOATA, a good family man and a person that left a deep impression as someone who commanded deep respect, up and down.

I have so many good memories of Burt, and hope that Penny and his family can take some comfort in our condolences.
