As many of you know, our website has become larger and larger over the years. The Opening and Welcome Pages aren’t overly large, but the forum bulletin boards take up a large amount of disc space and the links to all the pictures use a huge amount of bandwidth.

Our website host, Luke, who runs Shoalnet Fastrac Internet Services http://www.shoal.net.au/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; has helped us over the years, assisting us to solve problems and keeping the costs as low as possible.

We felt it was about time to recognise him for his help, so we have added his logo with a link to his website on the Welcome Page for any visitors.

Luke also offers e-mail services, in fact Shep uses Shoalnet for his e-mail and he is very happy with the service he receives.

So, to Luke, a huge thank you buddy for your help over the years.

I think a number of us ulilise this site for a number of reason. For me, sometimes it's to vent frustrations or worries, get opinions or help, but mainly to get a daily dose of sanity!

Hi guys,

Luke has informed me that he is getting out of website hosting so I am in the process of sourcing a new hoster for our website. The good news is early investigations suggest we may be able to get a host that charges much less with virtually no bandwidth or disc space limits.

Please be advised that when we change our host, the mate that is assisting me will update the phpBB forums to the latest version. This will entail the entire site being backed up so we don't lose it prior to the upgrade. If the site goes down please don't be alarmed. I will try and warn you prior to the temporary shut down.
