John Buttle rang this morning to inform me of the passing of Bob Fayers.
Bob died on Friday and will be fondly remembered by all Chippy's and all the other guys and girls he served with over his years in the RAN.

Rest in peace old buddy.

Served on Building 215 with Bob. A gentle man, and a nice bloke to boot. Sad to here this news.

I remember Bob, it was either at FMU or FMP at some stage. I remember him as a quiet bloke who he never rattled anybody's chain and just went about his job.
