I have enjoyed at least 20 trips to Bugis Street in my lifetime, most in the pre Lee Kuan Yue era when the moral standard of this wonderful location left a little to be desired, however, although I feasted my eyes on some of the delights that were on display, I never stooped to touching any of the merchandise.
I can recall though, on numerous occasions, the colourful characters that frequented Bugis Street stopping me and asking if I knew when “Tafmo” would be back. I didn’t know Robin at the time and when I asked the girls and boys why they were so interested in “Tafmo”, they all told me that they loved him because he spent so much money taking them home and loving them.
I will be visiting Bugis Street to buy some cheap watches on two occasions in September and October this year, (how coincidental that it is just before Robin arrives) so I will keep an eye out for some of those characters and tell them that “Tafmo” is coming and even though he is old,
may still be able to cum.
