Attention on deck! I am delighted to inform you all that I have just made flight reservations which will have my wife, the lovely and beautiful Mrs. Fred, and I arriving in Sydney on November 3rd. Since we won't be leaving for Brisbane until the 9th, we will be able to make this year's run.

I am looking forward to meeting you all.

After Brisbane is Cairns and then, unfortunately and all too soon, we will have to return home.

So if there are any of you on the fence about attending this year, this is your chance to say hello to one of the GDYs.

So get off the fence and let Rick know you're coming.

we all look forward to meeting you both and sharing a convivial ale or two with you...

...but you'd better tell us what other name 'Mrs Fred'

goes by, otherwise she's likely to get 'Mrs Fred' for the duration of her stay...!

P.S. I had heard a rumour

that GDY Wayne was heading 'Down Under' for this year's Rocks Run too... :boomerang:

...but then he discovered he'd booked his non-refundable tickets for Austria...

...Hope you can ski, Wayne...!

Pete, I checked the regulations and that tradition is only if you are visiting on this side of the big pond. Don't worry though, I can bring you the reindeer antlers and nose for your car that you showed so much interest in last year.
