You'll be happy to know that I have decided to book in for TWO nights at The Cremorne Point Manor, the excellent
little (?) boutique private B&B hotel, (only $105.00 per night,) which I discovered 12 months ago and stayed in for last year's run.



It's a little bit different, friendly, family owned, a touch of a bygone era with all the mod-cons and just an 8 minute ferry ride to Circular Quay...

So now I'll be able to put in an appearance at The Basin Trials on Friday, then ferry it across our magnificent Sydney
Harbour to meet up with you all for breakfast at 10:00am on Saturday at ‘Jackson’s on George’ to kick off the run...

Excellent Fred, you won't be disappointed, and you'll probably appreciate having a guide familiar with that part of Sydney to get you to the ferry, across the harbour and
back to the hotel; glad to offer my services...

At this stage I plan on checking in at approx. 2:00PM on the Friday, throwing my bags is the room, and if you're there and want to share a cab, we can head over to arrive
at The Basin Trials at around 2:30PM. Seejay, Shep, PW, etc., will all be there to greet you..!

If you're just doing Saturday, last year I timed it perfectly, with a stroll down to the ferry and arrived at Jackson's on George at exactly 10:00AM as planned...

N.B. The ferry's not practical for Friday, as it's slow and it takes us to a different part of Sydney to where The Basin Trials are at.

I'll make sure my Ambulance and Medical Insurances are up-to-date, with a special clause for "pre-meditated injuries"!!!!

Tell you what Pete. You bring your go-pro and I'll bring my iPod. That way we can add music to any misadventure/trip/unsteadiness you might have and then upload it to youtube. It'll be an overnight sensation and we could all get an invite to appear on the Ellen whatsername show.
