(Tough audience..!) You'll be happy to know that I have decided to book in for TWO nights at 
The Cremorne Point Manor, 
the excellent little (?) boutique private B&B hotel, (only $105.00 per night,) which I discovered 12 months ago and stayed in for last year's run.
It's a little bit different, friendly, family owned, a touch of a bygone era with all the mod-cons and just an 8 minute ferry ride to Circular Quay...
