This is getting to be quite an expensive exercise.

A reasonable, but still pricey hotel on Circular Quay, tickets with Qantas which I'm just about to cancel (thanks Alan Joyce you over-paid Irish prick...

) though not refundable, new tickets with Virgin to be sure we'll get to Sydney when we planned,

and now with the daughter and her boyfriend coming to Sydney, I can see my wallet emptying quickly

..... thank God we only do this once a year....
