You are probably correct on the time - definitely the action to drink after signing on. The Ship Inn was the early opener at the Quay for those waiting to catch the ferry to the end of Garden Island. A couple of the old fart tradesmen I worked with (as an apprentice) used to have a schooner and a rum before catching the ferry - some had more............

Leave Rhonda and I as a YES for the Basin Trials Rick, but it depends on our plane being on time from Perth. Catching up with an old mate and his wife for dinner, so only have a two to three schooner window of opportunity.......

Looks like it will be a short watch below for Basin Trials.
Hope those malingerers get some form of punishment. :)

Still can't make the cruise, though.
