This is terrible news! I first 'met' Bruce on that other website and I learned a heck of a lot about naval history from him - most notably through his quizzes.
Bruce you will be missed, especially by me. Our conversations about the Sydney and a few other mysteries of the sea gave me a whole new perspective.

Only just found out about our dear Bruce (Delta) ... how sad that he lost his fight for life. My God he put in a good one!!! Such a positive attitude and ever onwards ...
May you have fair winds and smooth seas forever; back in the arms of your darling
wife whom you missed so much. I salute you Bruce.
