Thanks Brian.....wow!!, I was thinking it was a little earlier than that, but you are right now that I think about it. Anyway, I still have this recollection of Wayne as being very approachable, and the other things I said in my previous post.

He did some of his chippy training with the 23rd intake. I was on Sydney in 1971 with him. Nice enough but could be a prickly bastard as well.
