If we're looking at the first weekend of October it will be a real good move to book accommodation NOW as that weekend is also a long weekend (Labour Day) and accommodation is sure to be very hard to come by at that time.
I can make it up for Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th.
Do we have some consensus as to the run being changed to the first weekend of October?

OK, I know it's bloody early, but it really is time to start getting serious about this.
Cruise companies are already advertising and taking bookings for the three big days (Tall Ships Entry, Fleet Entry & Fleet Review), and these won't last long before being booked out.
Are we able to put yacht in the water for these days, or does one book a cruise billet so as not to miss out?
Also what about the thought of bringing forward November?

Chris, I know what you say, but my query is in relation to whether we can put the yacht on the water for the events or not. If any doubt, the following link relates to cruise options available for the events;
