Meanwhile life was already careening towards a full-on weekend and after
talking to Col, I decided I just had to head down to the 'Basin :drinkers: Trials'
at 'The Frisco'... let's face it, somebody had to keep an eye on them all... :roll:

There was no 'sneaking up' on them... [-( No sooner had I lifted my camera
to take this shot than Peter Weyling had already shot me... :shock:

Shortly thereafter, Tafmo arrived, so with a full house, it was time to take
the obligatory 'group bin-there shot' for evidence of attendance...

L to R: Mark 'Mobes' Mobley, behind him is yours truly, then behind me,
Howie Henderson, then Howie's daughter Anthea, seated next to Anthea
is Col 'Pussasan' Kelson, standing tall alongside Col is Robin 'Tafmo' King,
seated in front of Tafmo is Pete Weyling, and that's Chris 'Seejay' O'Keefe
about to throw up in his ear, Dave Warren's standing alondside Seejay, with
Steve 'Shep' Shepard seated in the front... Top turn-out for the 'day before'... :thumbright:

Pete Weyling was feeling very generous, not satisfied with buying jugs
of beer for the assembly, he felt an overwhelming desire to share his
secret with Seejay, giving him a packet of Pete's very own. "Wipe On
Sex Appeal"...! :shock: Explains a lot really...!!! :lol:

I'm a bit worried about Seejay, you've got to remember he's not used to
'Daylight :sunny: Saving' with an extra hour of daylight drinking time...! :drinkers:

I snuck off early, leaving the boys to their devices, :partyman: see you all at

The BBQ is smoking a way like 2 WWII DD's with a couple of Boston Butts a cooking, (pork roasts), at noon the chicken legs go on, and as the wife is not looking am having a beer, it's 0900 here.

0600 'Down :laughing5: Under' and in around 3 1/2 hours I'll be catching a bus

I'm a good boy, Oh yes I am :shock: :shock: I left the guys last night just as they were starting to get unruly. I had to get back to Newcastle for family commitments.
Got to Circular Key station with 30 seconds to spare for a train to Central then 15 seconds to spare for the train to Newcastle, missing the train to Wagga that Dino wanted to put me on by half a day!!!
Oh, he's a worry, that old fart.
