Have just received phone call from Adrian Clark (Son) that his Dad “Bernie” passed away overnight after a battle with health issues.
Adrian has requested that this initial advice be passed on.

The only information I could find was:

Bernard Chatfield CLARK, R42038
He was a member of the 1st Intake (Jul 56)

He trained as an EA and was an EA4 in 1965, before being promoted to a SLt (L) in 1966. Most of his postings to that point were between Cerberus, Penguin and Watson. The only sea posting I could find was Melbourne 62-64.

He re-engaged when he was promoted, but no further info was recorded after 66.

Sorry to see another pioneer MOBI leave us.

Looking at the Navy List December 1977 he was at Harman as a LCDR GLEN, before that he was the WEEO on Derwent in March 1976 as a LCDR GLEN.
He must of retired sometime after 1977 as he is listed in the Navy List June 1979 in the RANR section.
