I served with Max, a Direct Entry Tradesman, in a few places.
He rose to prominence as the Chief Tiffy of the Catapult System of the carrier HMAS MELBOURNE.
After leaving the Navy he worked in the modification and maintenance sections of NQEA for the Fremantle Class Patrol Boats.
A first class tradesman and a thorough gentleman to boot. Another good man gone.
