Seejay, yes mate that was her. I recall first seeing her when Tobruk visited Darwin one time. Thought that she looked pretty good, no idea I would be married to her a few years later.

Thanks for the extremely kind words gents. Owing to the uncertainty of the cause of death the poor woman has been taken to the Glebe coroners waiting for an autopsy. This of course means that the family cannot determine funeral dates just yet.

A sad day today, we buried my brother in law Eddy Sheavils. Ed joined the Navy as a JR. in 1963 and finally left the service 49 years later as a Warrant Officer Mine Warfare. A good man, a good mate.

Good grief, this is terrible news. I worked with both Shane and his brother Greg.
I am not sure which of the brothers it was but one of them was serving in HMAS Wollongong when it ran aground of Gabo Island in 1985 and was instrumental in saving the ship.
A sad day.
